Press Conference - Héviz (Hungary)
During the celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Hungarian Society of Balneology, which was held in Héviz (Hungary), EAPTC was invited to present its activities at a specific press conference. The Association was represented by the President, Natalia Tchaourskaia, the Vice-President, Fausto Bonsignori, the General Secretary, Alceste Santuari, as well as by Professor Umberto Solimene, co-ordinator of the Scientific Committee and by one of the members of the Committee, Prof. Pedro Cantista.
The Mayor of Héviz, Gàbor Papp and the President of the Hungarian Society of Balneology, Pàl Géher also took part in the press conference.

L'Association des Curistes de Capvern-les-Bains (ACCB) rejoint la FFCM
L'assemblée de l'Association des Curistes de Capvern-les-Bains (ACCB) qui s'est tenue le 15 septembre avec la participation de représentants de la FFCM, a confirmé la décision de l'ACCB de rejoindre la Fédération Française des Curistes Médicalisés pour s'inscrire dans une action collective nationale tout en continuant son action locale.

Free guides for citizens on treatment abroadSeptember 22, 2016
The European Network of Active Citizenship Active Citizenship Network is promoting in 14 EU countries a communication campaign on cross-border healthcare (Directive 2011/24/EU), entitled "Patients' rights have no borders".
Within this activity, the Active Citizenship Network has created, in collaboration with the European organizations involved in the initiative, free guides for citizens who need health treatment in another EU Member State.
Brochures are available in the following languages: AT, BG, CY, DE, EN, ES, FR, HU, IT, LT, MT, NL, PL, SL.

 Convegno Termalismo e Medicina estetica - Terme di Petriolo
Si è svolto sabato 17 settembre 2016 presso le terme di Petriolo (Grosseto), il Convegno su Termalismo e medicina estetica (cfr. programma allegato).
EAPTC è stata tra gli organizzatori della partecipata e apprezzata iniziativa. Il vice presidente della Associazione, dr. Fausto Bonsignori, che ha coordinato i lavori, ha sottolineato gli stretti legami che collegano le prestazioni termali alla medicina estetica, che dai centri termali può invero trarre significativi benefici.
Nel suo intervento, il Segretario Generale di Eaptc, prof. Alceste Santuari, ha ribadito le finalità dell associazione, che si impegna, tra l'altro, a supporto di tutte le iniziative finalizzate a promuovere la validazione scientifica delle prestazioni termali soprattutto in funzione preventiva.
Il convegno ha rappresentato una preziosa occasione per far conoscere la nostra Associazione che ha suscitato tra i medici e gli operatori presenti interesse e curiosità. Numerosi sono stati infatti i contatti stabiliti e le richieste di informazioni.

L’équipe de la Fédération Française des Curistes Médicalisés (FFCM) de Châtel-Guyon, représentée par Mme Martine JORDAN et M. Antoine-Pierre BLANCH, a le plaisir de vous inviter à la réunion d’information des curistes qui se tiendra aux anciens thermes (face au Casino de Châtel-Guyon) lundi 8 août à 16 h.

EAPTC and Active Citizenship Network agreement
EAPTC and Active Citizenship Network have recently joined in an agreement aimed at establishing an effective cooperation in the protection of EU citizens willing to benefit from health SPAs treatments. Link to the agreement: EN , IT
The agreement represents an important step for EAPTC, which has been engaged in reaching out for other similar European organisations to co-operate with.
In particular, the agreement sets out the following purposes:- to foster and strengthen the thermalism culture across Europe;
- to protect citizens' rights when they use health SPAs services;
- to monitor the pros and cons of Directive 2011/24/EU concerning patients' rights in cross-border health care for health SPAs
Invitation à la réunion de la Fédération Française Curistes MédicalisésLa FFCM vous invite à assister à la réunion qui se tiendra le jeudi 28 avril à partir de 15 h dans la salle de conférence de l'Office du Tourisme du Mont-Dore (salle accessible aux handicapés). - Nous aurons l'honneur d'accueillir en première partie le Professeur Christian-François ROQUES, et sa conférence-débat: "Les effets des cures thermales - Données scientifiques récentes" Le Pr. ROQUES est membre de l'Académie Nationale de Médecine, et président du Conseil Scientifique de l'Association Française pour la Recherche Thermale (AFRETh), organisme qui promeut et organise depuis 11 ans la recherche médicale et scientifique du thermalisme. http://www.afreth.org/
- En deuxième partie, se tiendra l'habituelle réunion d'information de curistes, qui sera animée par le président de la FFCM.
- Enfin, le traditionnel pot de l'amitié sera offert par la FFCM.
